Morocco Photography Tour
I’m thrilled to announce I will be a participating artist on Amazigh Cultural Tours 2024 tour of Morocco.
From 31st August to 14th September, 2024, this 14 day tour traverses a large part of southern Morocco from the ancient city of Marrakech, over the spectacular landscape of remote regions of the High Atlas Mountains to the northern edge of the vast Sahara.
Traveling with me, participants will experience the wonderful world of the indigenous Amazigh (Berber) people. Time is given to taking photographs en route to explore the wealth and beauty of the Moroccan landscape and culture, interspersed with lively discussions on the topics of conceptual image-making and storytelling.
Accommodation is provided in comfortable traditional guesthouses, where participants can enjoy the extraordinary delights of Amazigh food and hospitality. The warmth and good humour of the people is immense and the insights into the Islamic world and Amazigh spirituality and contemporary life fascinating. Traveling with a small group of like-minded people and an experienced team of co-hosts the program offers an innovative and creative way to explore a new place that is stimulating, supportive and safe.
